With the ease of taking out all the death eaters, and poking fun at clichés all over the place the story ends up coming across as fairly boring and generic with a lack of challenge or conflict. I find this to be a pity as your basic writing abilities are excellent, oh well.

Nicely done, sir. Your premise held up well and was actually logical -- not surprising, considering what you do for a living.

I've enjoyed reading this, thanks for writing and sharing it.

Best wishes for the holiday season and new year, thanks for the early present.

This is a great ending. Harry didn't have to fight Voldemort afterall. I'm glad Dumbledore sealed Voldemort in Azkaban before he died. That is a fitting end to Voldemort. He wanted to live forever. It will probably feel that way before his life ends. Very well done Thanks for all of your great stories. I have enjoyed everyone. I hope to see you write something else about Harry Potter and Hermione sometime. pms

Excellent ending to the story. I suppose I would have liked more detail around their year in Australia & the friends they made there, but then it is nice to just imagine how that may have gone. We also never hear more about Ron & co., though you deal with that quite well. And, interestingly enough, there *isn't* a final confrontation between Harry & Voldemort. Thanks for sharing your talents, and I hope we haven't seen the last of you!

Thanks for another well-thought-out and fun to read chapter! I'm glad to hear that we do check in from time to time with the folks at Hogwarts, and I imagine there will be more cross-over of the story line to include that later, correct? Can't wait for the next installment.

Well Australia was very interesting but the good stuff seems to happen on black Island. At least some of it does. I like the way things are working out. Sirius has a love interest that wants his child. I assume Sirius is happy. Harry and Hermione are going to try school at the AAMA. Hermione is happy she has new books to explore. Harry is happy to explore Hermione and the Grangers are happy together. I look forward to more of this story. I hope they find an Aborigini that can clear Harry's curse scar. Thanks for writing. pms

This is a really different view of the Black Island. I seen it in several stories and I like them all. This is now one of my favorites. The different situations Harry and Hermione got into were fun. The French girls teaching Hermione a tan spell was great. The teens seeing a different attitude in Hermione's parents was fun and eye opening to the teens. Sirius hads another attitude and sense of fun along with it. I can see Sirius wanting to stay on the island forever. Especially since he has developed a relationship with one of the island women. It makes sense that Hermione would like to go back to school and the Grangers would probably like to see Australia. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms

That's a rather shallow view of the "eancipated minor." The term is not oxymoronic, as age does not necessarily coincide with freedom: the term indicates an exception (i.e. that this minor is emancipated.)

The usage isn't always due to impatience: it can be logically performed due to exploitation of a legal loophole (because logical paradoxes don't correspond to legislation: the "you must be 17 to enter, and you must enter, therefore you must be 17" is circular logic but absolutely true legally [as far as I'm aware,]) then used to place a stronger (take the term as you will,) Harry in a situation from the earlier books. It's not impatience.

Don't be so dismissive.

Great story. Why aren't they at school? Are they skipping a year?

Any updates would be appreciated.

Really enjoyed the detailed descriptions of both their environment and those pareos! I was wondering how much we would hear about things at Hogwarts. I guess it will be limited to just the occasional letter? I don't suppose they might return there at some point (for a visit)? Looking forward to the next installment!
