::chuckle:: I love that "Girl Friday" comment which could be taken several ways (if memory serves me, there's a story on FFN where she becomes just that to him). I do like the way they reonnect so fast and then building upon their connections to deepen matters between them. I rather suspect she's going to have an interesting time on Halloween and be rather distracted between this time and then. It's a fun story and I'm looking forward to teh final part.

I like the the mental picture I get when I envision a mature Hermione and Harry. I wait semi-patiently for more.

Best of luck in RL,

Agree on the wand cop-out and your reasoning. If Teddy was in two-way communication, it's surprising he didn't mention 'Professor Granger' at least, but other than that, the scenario makes sense.

This is such a good story. It is sad in a way that Harry and Hermione spent so much time apart but it is great that they are so intuned to each other now. The speed their relationship developed is amazing. It is such a good indication of how they have both matured in their time apart. I'm glad they figured it out so quickly. This Harry is amazing. He has learned so much about magic since he left. I'm sure Hermione is duly impressed. I love the fact that he has developed a magical animal reserve right in the middle of Wales. It is sad that he was so close to Hermione for so long and never learned any more about her life. I really like the fact that he saved the Boa Constrictor from a long lonely life in the zoo. That was a very nice touch. I'm almost surprised that he didn't have Norbert at the reserve. It makes sense to have a Welsh Green in a reserve in Wales. I love the way your stories have such great details. My daughter has written a little Harry Potter fan fic but she has never posted it. I'm sure you would like it. It is 94 pages long and she isn't happy with the ending right now. Sorry I had to brag. Maybe I can get her to allow me to send it for you to read. Thanks again for writing a story I really enjoy. I look forward to Part III. pms

P.S. I have seen the final movie and I like it . There are little things I would have liked to see done differently but over all I think it was good. One FF author mentioned that the end of Harry's trip into the forest when the three Malfoys leave over the causeway was a great way to set up for Draco's treatment after the war. I really like the way you had Harry deal with the wand in this story. Very inventive and well thought out. In a way I wish Harry had fixed his old wand the way he did in the book. Then he could have destroyed or as you indicated he encased it in such a way it would be damaged or destroyed trying to remove it from the material it was in. Either way noone would ever use it again for good or bad. Thanks for another view of the time after Voldemort. pms

One could actually feel the happiness in this chapter. I would say you must have enjoyed writing it. And you're not wrong. The older I get, the faster the years pass. Excellent read. Cheers.

Lovely. You make credible adults, and while this magical Eden is very Grand, it's not overcooked. I feared Harry's Ark, with herds of all species from bowtruckles to giant Noble dragons. This is great and magnificient, but not overdone. You're also building their relationship at a credible rate. Neither Hi-let's-shag nor the all too common "carefulness" that takes years to get to groping. That he had made a mockup lightsaber had me laughing loudly. Yes, he's a guy with great resources and a lot of free time. Of course he would. He would get a recliner. He would get a huge TV. There will be a copy of "Naughty bookworms 9" somewhere. I also can't help picturing the "guy room" in dark wood, leather and brass, the so-called testosterone-chic style. I'm looking forward to the next installment with great anticipation. Go you!

Great chapter! It's good to see them finally getting together - but not too quickly. Good relationship building - just getting to know each other again.

I am a little surprised Harry didn't give her someway to get in touch with him should the need arise - but I guess that's what Teddy's for.

I look forward to your next chapter.

Oh this sounds good! It will be nice to see Harry and Hermione together, but I'm sure you're not going to make it too easy for them to just pickup where they left off at.

I look forward to see what happens next.

A lovely outset, and an interesting view of Harry-the-Hermit. As I'm simply loving it so far i have no suggestions or complaints at all. Take it away, Maestro..

Well done, prof. Excellent set up. And, like everyone else seems to, I really like Tori in this. Can't wait for more.

Bloody Teddy (lucky bugger). Be interesting to see how they overcome the tyranny of time. Nice start. Cheers. Z

I really like how you have this encounter set up. It seems like Harry has continued to learn magic while Hermione probably has too while playing to her strengths (helping and encouraging students). I like that Harry has kept his word about keeping in touch.

Tori sounds fascinating and I hope the little flirts part of the story isn't over.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the tale.
