It's funny to think on how Ginny's ploy would have failed her so badly had her author not arranged for Harry to so conveniently notice her at the start of book 6. If it wasn't for that authorial intervention, why, Ginny would still be waiting!

I could have done without Ron's reaction to Hermione's nudity, but oh well.
