I really like how you wrote about Hugo and Lily. Clever and classy leaving it like that. Great one-shot though and i also like how you didn't make Ron and Ginny bad people, it'd be to easy to do that.

Very nice story!
It shows how much can be changed by one singular decision...
Thank you for writing.

Well finally, some one did som'att about that, that thing out the end of DH, and you've done it quite well. Anyone with any sense at all could tell them two were meant fer each other. now I've seen enough Weasley's pass thru this school to know the signs, an' only Ron left me with a feeling that som'att were missing. Seemed like a drive, a sense of self, a goal if you would, were missing from that boy. As me old dad used ter say "that boys got a lot of quit in him"

The ultimate exposition and dismantling of JKR's epilogal delusions. Marvelous analysis and wonderfully worded and fleshed out from your basic thoughts.

That bit about cousins seems to be rather far fetched. Not only is it perfectly legal to marry your cousin in most parts of the world, it even seems to be fairly common in the magical world.
In Denmark - my home country - it is legal and I am myself the result of such a marriage. My grandfathers were brothers. Very few countries have any legal problems with that.

This is a nice story. I can imagine just how the story might progress. I enjoy other people's stories, and especially yours. While I tried to write a few stories of my own, I always end up hitting a wall where the store seems to dead end eventually. It allows me to appreciate your even more.

If they love each other, and they're not pushing for children, what's the harm? So what if they're close family members... finding someone to love, and who loves you, is special enough that it shouldn't be shat on, if proper precautions are taken.

Thanks.
There's a gazillion redo fics out there, and few of them are very good. This stands nicely as a one-shot. I wouldnt't mind seeing the rest of the story though. The way you would write it, i can't imagine it going sour. You have a great grasp of , well, people. I would like to see what happens next. On the other hand, i don't need to. The start, your lovely disassembly of the epilogue was truly brilliant. The "kids" were brilliant. The merger of reality, real people, real development, real emotion and the infamous crapilogue was masterfully done. Thanks.
