keep up the great work, I find it funny that most of the better fic's that I have read in the past have mentioned you and now from what I've read in this fic I can certainly see why.

I really like this series, and am glad it is not doomed to languish in the abandoned file. My attitude about island life is probably closest to Sirius'. I would have very little problem telling the world to take a hike.

I happen to be affected by your "restless/want to get back to human civilization" version of island fever, so you aren't completely wrong. I happen to also be a bit unimpressed by nature, so...

G'day Prof, marvellous what a sane writer can make from an insane story. Quite a good interpretation. Cheers.

"They have," Tonks shot back. "Do you think we’re stupid? ..." -Yes, I do thing it was stupid to pick a word that is used at the END of the Death Eater's activities rather than one used during them, as Harry suggested.

I'm glad that the capture of the death eaters by the Ministry has led to the weakening of Voldemort's supporters. Now that Harry and his "family" know about the prophesy and recognize that he could have been completed when Harry was a baby has changed a lot of their thinking. There is still the connection between Harry and Voldemort in Harry's scar. I'm glad Sirius suggested that they look into just what that scar is and why Voldemort can hurt Harry through it. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms

So Harry finally finds out wht the prophesy says. I'm glad he has such surpport. Tonks letting Remus know she had set up Sirius on a double date was fun. I''m glad he agreed so quickly. The capture of all the known Death Eaters was great. I look forward to more of this story. pms

I don't think you thought through the size of a pile of 25,000 or even 50,000 coins make. It's actually looks quite small in an small open room, ie something a little larger than a walk in closet. We are talking not even knee high. That isn't to say you can't have it worth a lot, but if people are supposed to gasp when seeing it you are going to need more coins. Obviously this story has already been written, but for any future stories it is something to think about.

I really enjoyed this new spin on the prophecy. I suppose it emphasizes the statement that it only has the power that people give it (or allow it to have). If it becomes known that the prophecy has been fulfilled, there is less fear about what will happen if it comes true in the future, right? Looking forward to how things continue to diverge from the original OOTP.

I'm still not sure whether you're re-uploading this (I feel like I've read it before,) but on the off chance that this is new, please don;t go the whole "the secret power is ~love~" route. It was a cop-out, really just an excuse to force her Romantic Hero into the role of a Martyr.
Pretty sure that's the whole reason why the last 3 books are so bad; oh, and the ridiculous quest to redeem Snape at the expense of literally every other character who was a father/mentor to Harry. But I digress.

I really enjoyed this story as well (so far). Looking forward to where you take the story next!
I also like the more significant relationship that Fleur has, and wonder, will we see any more of the Weasleys, or Dumbledore anytime soon?

I must have read this by you before on a different site, because I keep getting these deju moments while reading this. Its like I don't remember what happens next, but as I read it I remember reading it before. Thats the good thing have having a bad memory, you can reread old stories you liked and you don't even remember what happens next so it isn't spoiled.

Very neatly done, sir, and thank you.
If I recall corrrectly, the British cops use a warning on the order of (I'm paraphrasing) "Anything you say in response to questions can be used against you; if you do not answer questions this will be used against you" -- the Fifth Amendment doesn't exist in the UK either. Or elsewhere in the world, for that matter.
The French are very likely using the Code Napoleon, wherein a prisoner is presumed guilty until he clears himself of charges. No comments concerning "liberty, equality and brotherhood" from me. I still like Edith Piaf's rendition of La Marseillese however, it makes one want to stand on a hotel balcony and (I'll be polite here) micturate upon the Gestapo gathered below. Very Gryffinidorish behaviour; a Slytherin would probably spray aqua regia on them. My lot would have been across the street with a stolen MG-42. Vive les maquis.
Thanks again for writing and sharing your story -- stories, for that matter -- and best wishes for the upcoming holidays and new year.

Hmm!
I'm enjoying this; don't have much criticism, as, well, there's not much to criticize, so just keep it up!

Very enjoyable so far. I am hoping to see what conflicts do emerge, now that you have Harry off on a firmer footing than in canon.

The shopping trip is needed. I don't understand how Harry made it through 7 years with NOBODY ever giving him some clothes. Of course, the whole series of books became totally stupid by book 6...

This is excellent. I love the fact that Sirius was at the Delacour's before Harry and the Grangers even arrived. Of course Harry would question if Sirius was safe there but the Delacour's were very much in Harry camp and that included his godfather. I love the way they manipulated the press and the public in England. They really rocked the world and got Fudge out of office in record time. I like how Hermione and Sirius explained why Molly annoyed Sirius so much. A child was stucture and love in their life. That is Molly's regular way of doing things. It doesn't work so well with adults. I like Sirius attitude to being upfront with Harry and the other teens. Molly wants to protect them too much and hide bad things from them. The talk with Amelia was great. She is really on their side now for sure. Making the statement that Sirius is innocent and now Pettigrew is taking Sirius place on the wanted list is more than fantastic. I really like the changes you have made. Your comments about JKR's discrepancies are valid and I really enjoy reading them and making the comparisons myself. Thank for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms

This is an excellent change for the OOTP. I really like the fact that Harry doesn't trust Dumbledore and he leaves the country with the Grangers. That is excellent. I really liked the fact that Hermione's Parents are so understanding about the new relationship betweem Harry and Hermione. It is excellent that the Delacoures are welcoming them to their phone. Thanks for writing. I look forward to more of this story. pms
